Tanner & Tilley are pleased to announce that they have succeeded in gaining permission for AFC Bournemouth’s planning applications at an extraordinary planning committee held on 1st July2015. Three applications were considered at the committee, including a two storey training pavilion, a temporary privacy screening to the existing training pitches, and ancillary structures which included a boiler house for under-pitch heating, an outside broadcasting compound, and a TV studio.

The plans were approved by the committee unanimously on each occasion, securing the important development for the football club who need to have all of the structures in place for the start of the season in order to meet Premier League requirements. Helen Harris, who has been involved in the preparing the planning application and working closely alongside Brightspace Architects and Bournemouth Football Club, said; ‘Obviously we’re delighted to have secured permission for the club. We are very thankful to the Council for being so open-minded about entering into a Planning Performance Agreement with us and allowing the club to be able to meet the very tight deadlines involved in delivering the developments ahead of the start of the football season. This is a great result for AFC Bournemouth and it has been a fantastic project to be involved in. We wish the club the best of success in the coming season.
