Planning fees to rise? Council’s may set own fees level as DCLG consultation document proposes to allow local Councils to set their own planning application fees in England by October 2011.

On 15 November 2010, with a response cut-off date of 7 January 2011, DCLG published a consultation paper on proposed changes to planning application fees.
